In 1991, our ministry began as a small devoted group led by the late Elder Lloyd C. Taylor. After only a few short years of dedication, hard work and faith, we were able to officially open the Faith United Church doors to the community in 1995. 

Today, our church is pastored by the son of Elder Taylor, Kevin Lloyd Taylor. From an early age, Pastor Kevin has devoted his time to becoming a leader in the ministry, serving as an organist, music director and a youth minister.

Pastor Taylor has been married to his wife, Georgia Perry Taylor for 20 years. They have both been blessed with a daughter, Savannah-Rae Taylor, who is also serving in the ministry.

As a ministry devoted to sharing the word of God, our mission is to gather and lead fellow believers into sharing the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ in our everyday lives.

 

We hope that our work helps believers develop the skills and learn the responsibility and the productivity of becoming spiritually mature citizens that live by the teachings of God.

Ultimately, we strive to equip believers and newcomers alike with the courage to seek out the word of Jesus Christ and realize their purpose for mission(s) in the world, as they become a part of God’s family.
